Together we can make a difference

Without our supporters we simply cannot keep saving cats, and this rescue is a lifeline for so many of them. We are entirely volunteer run, so every penny you donate goes directly to helping the cats.

The best way to help is to become a Cat House Rescue Champion by setting up a monthly donation. That lets us bring more cats into the rescue with confidence, and ultimately save more lives. As a Champion you also get access to our private Facebook group, so you can follow the lives your donation is helping us save.

Prefer to give once? A one off donation will not make you eligible for the Champions scheme, but it will still make a huge difference to a cat's life.

Where your money goes

We receive no local or government funding, so everything we do is paid for by donations. Here is what yours pays for.

Vet care

Neutering and spaying, vaccinations, dental work, and treatment for the cats who arrive unwell or injured. This is by far our biggest cost.

Food and litter

Every cat in foster care is fed and kept clean from the day they come in until the day they go home.

Microchipping

Every cat is chipped and registered before they leave us, so if they are ever lost they can be traced back.

Neutering vouchers

Low cost neutering for cat owners on a low income in Ravenscliffe and Thorpe Edge, so fewer kittens are born on the streets.

Trap, neuter, return

Traps, vet fees and aftercare for community cats living in colonies, so their numbers stop rising.

Nobody here takes a wage. We are entirely volunteer run, with no offices and no salaries, so every penny you give goes to the cats.
